scrapbooking top 50 august challenge

when i saw  the butterflies on your challenge sight , i knew that kelly anns butterflies would suit perfectly
I have never  been into  butterflies until  last year, when i happened to go to class  that on the layout had butterflies,
now, i can not get enough, especially with A Mothers Art,   butterflies, from Kelly Ann Oosterbeek, who designs her own self adhesive sticker butterflies,  they are soo cute, &  now i have  seen, that i can make  one colour into another  making another colour,  orange, using marker pens, that Kelly  mentioned to  me . how cool.

i had visions of how they would go on my page, but this did not eventuate
here is what i have used to create  my layout.
I have used , the crafters workshop stencil  then with
Colour Blast  texture paste  another of my favourites in my stash,  using
singing the blues
Royality
Sunshine
Lipstick ( pink)
and  of course,  Kellys  butterflies, A Mothers Art
red
yellow,
made orange
blue
lilic

i have some   music  washi tape as well added.
all on white card stock.

hope  you like it ,
thanks.
Hope to do more of these in the coming months.

A2Z Scraplets August CHallenge

Thanks  very much A2Z just love these tic, tac, toes,  challenges, makes me think outside the box,
so this afternoon, i thought i would go with
 (1) patterned paper
 (2) a2z chipboard,  On a Adventure
(3)  stamping,

 (1)  The patterned paper i  have used,  is Kaiser's  Pack your Bags.  its a very old collection, but have plenty of, so  I have cut one out  a  sheet out and turned it over and  inked it  on to  second sheet, ( same )  in distress Vintage photo ink. I also have used a  6 x 6 inch  patterned papers to mat  under the photos.
(2) with  the word,  On a  Adventure, i have  used  Lindy magical Hydranda  Blue, which i recently bought at gympie, on our recent adventure with my best friend Natalie.

I will have to find more of these cute  tubs,  they  have  so many uses  &  they  dont take too much room,
what i did with it was to use my water brush and dipped into the  bottle and then  started at the bottom, i wanted the effect of  light at the top and darker at the bottom,  ( i  usually dont play), so what i get on the page is what i  get, so have gone over  it a few times at the bottom , to make it look darker, and then have used  dimensional magic  to make it pop.  i just  like getting started and finishing my project within  a couple of hours,

(3) stamping ,
Here i have used several  brands,
Kaszazz  for the  2 birds,   with black staz on ink
the car,  is from Kaiser -  On the Move  stamping collection  i have coloured in with  Colour Blast texture  paste for the windscreen  and headlights -  Sunshine and the  bumper bars   with  colour  blast  - Steel,  again i have got out the  tub of  Magical Hydrangea Blue an painted the car ( my favourite colour  blue)
The Seagulls  &  word -  you never know when  your making  a  memory are  both  from Kaiser stamps both are inked in staz-on  inks

hope you enjoy my layout,

not sure if i will complete any more challenges,
i have  in the coming weeks.
an orchid show to to help set up ( hubby grows orchids)
sewing -  to fix my dress for a wedding ( not mine wedding  LOL)
make a wedding card,
pack  for next retreat,  im not going to retreat til  october
and a few other things,  before the end of the month.
i am sure i will have  other things  that will tie me up with other adventures im sure

until next month,  thanks for dropping by.

1 2 3 August Challenge

hi another  month is passing us by,  thanks for  this   challenge,  i found this one really easy to do i  did it in  a matter of minutes at a recent retreat, but then had to wait to get hoe to print out the photos.

before leaving on my  retreat, i  embossed some white card stock,

I have used , Sea Breeze Kaiser papers, p 2017 refresh for a change instead of brown card stock,
at the retreat,  i cut my papers  into squares, added a brown car, and  then added the photos today,
I have used ,Close to my Heart stamps for the  date and   the word scrapbook
the  word ,explore, i  had printed out at home, but when i looked in my goodie box, there i found  this explore, which is much nicer than mine
i had fun wit this one, now to continue y story on the  other side of the paper  with another challenge,
until next month, where has the time gone, September  soon & i haven't even started my Xmas cards, they went  all the way to Gladstone and home again ,without even opening  the  bag
 best fins some time   soon.
