white with 1

i started this layout,  before  went away, so when i came home, i knew it would be dry, maybe curled a bit  it wasn't til  now, that i realized, that i haven't done anything else to it, so its not really my best work,  wasn't going to put it in, as it did not take a lot of time to do, but  its another page done ,

so  i got out one of my stencils and  inked over  the stencil with brown ink, then got out my Dylusions sprays melted chocolate and sprayed it  to make the sprays run.while i had the stencil over the page, i got out my  baby wipes and  smeared around the edges , ( as well as it cleaned my  my stencil as well, bonus)

I then found this photo, when looking for another photos for another layout and thought, why not, another photo in the album

Kaiser Feb Challenge

Thanks Kaiser, for this great challenge, and   this awesome paper collection, i just love it, i just love  anything   to do with blue, sandy beaches,
Its not very hard for me, to do a Kaiser challenge  saying that 85 % of it  has to be Kaiser products, well , my stash, i say, is 99 %  Kaiser products,   as my friends will tell you im addicted, to kaiser products.   i have no trouble entering  Kaiser Challenges  just love every thing, even have the very fist issue of the magazine #1 still.

so today, i have used the  new collection Coastal Escape
products used in this layout is white Kaiser card stock
                                                             P2058           Underwater
                                                            P2059  in the  6 x 6  pad.
I have inked and distressed around the edges with Kaiser Teal IP701

CM 604    from   the Sun Kissed  Kit.
just love the sea horses,  I have never been one for words on my layouts, but of course you can see lots on this layout,
I have used , Vellum from spotlight  to stamp the Kaiser net stamp , this is  a great stamp,  i can see lots of my beach, fishing layouts using this stamp.
i found some  real shells that i picked up  and have placed 3 on the bottom of the page
The Butterflies are another new thing for me, now im addicted to these little butterflies,  they are from Kelly - Ann Ooterbeek  from A Mothers Art in Casino,  I received these blue ones  as part of my christmas present and now just want more of them.  Kelly ann  has 10 different colours, just devine .

Scrapping Outback - White with a twist

thanks  Scrapping Outback February Challenge.

WHITE WITH A TWIST, What a wonderful colours to work with. When i saw it , i knew exactly what i was going to do.
2 weeks ago,  i drove away with friends to Casino, New South Wales. I knew there  was a swimming pool where we  were going to stay and had my outfit all ready for the morning  photo  shoot,  taken by my friend Natalie. all was going to plan, photos taken of pool and me.  and then we ended up late for class,  seeing as we were all late ,the only seats left were in the middle, will make sure im early next time so we all can  sit  on the outside looking in , all was good though.  everyone knew we were from Queensland with the proper time  set.
Today , i have used ,Kaiser  White  card stock and then with the new Kaiser Net template ( stencil)  fishing Net. rubbed over with my finger,
i have used Inka - gold  -cobaltblua
Colour Blast  colour paste - singing the blues and deep water, dont these just smell divine, have to remember  they are not for eating
.
while waiting for it to dry, i have inked the Lazy days  chipboard from Fab Scraps DC 64 007 , with Drew drop Brilliance rocket red ink and then  placed glossy accents over it and let  to dry, Its good now & then to have like a detash, in the cupboards,  one finds amazing things, that i have forgotten about,  when i have soo much stuff, and found  these cute  button  adhesive from Mod Designs alphabets and rub ons.  out fell a ball and some flowers, i must have been planning on doing something with these to all fall out at the same time ,so now to put to this layout and its done with.
the Welcome to Paradise is a journalling card from Kaiser,
I have  put  glossy accents and some paint to  acetate &  put the  Casino over the top when dry to give a watery effect, and placed some  clear dots around to give the effect of  water , i will have to buy some more of these,  as they were my last lot. when im at the craft show.

hope you enjoy this layout, as much as i loved creating it this afternoon
until next time

Kraft Plus February Challenge

Great Challenge this month,

I have in my cupboard, in albums ,   post cards, that when my friends &  family goes over seas,  they either post me of  give me post cards, as  i love to see  all the different kinds of  amazing pictures , &   places, that i will never get to see,

So today,  which ones to pull  out  & take photos of, i  took 33 photos, but of course, no one would be able to see that  it was a kraft plus challenge, as  i could not see any kraft paper, so  have reduced   the photos, still could not see paper, so then  had to  really think, which ones really   can i  put on the layout,  and add come colours to the page,

I have used Do craft paperama stamps,
I also  used Kaszazz postcard stamp with Versa mark , white cloud ink and  staz on jet black ink

the postmarks in some of the photos are actually from the post card, which i   have just cut out and have curled  and distressed and inked with distress  brown ink

the sticker sheet  across the page is from Kaiser - Miss empire  sticker sheet.

As i was taking the photos, my husband came in  and said what a waste, im hoping that i dont die first, as he will throw away my collection of over 600  post cards away  that ive been collecting since , before we got married. ( 39 years and still collect  where possible)  LOL.

hope you like my layout, as much as i had fun  remembering  those memories of  my friends in these places.  so long ago.

until next month,  looking forward to seeing what you all can come up with to  keep my mind creative.  thinking..

1 2 3 Feb Challenge

thank you  for these great bold colour,

1 being   the colour  - red
 2             the word    - Lovely
 3                               - Hearts

All fitting for lovers and  valentines day, although in this case , my sisters engagement and birthday,

I have used. Kaiser  white card stock,
cut out the middle  and made a frame from Kaiser Porcelain  Rose paper.
I have used  Everlasting  keepsakes cuddles  chipboards ( hearts)
and vellum diacuts for the word Lovely  and Kaiser Silver Bells as the centre of the layout

also used are Kaiser Porcelain  Rose sticker sheet for flowers and bird.

the hearts along the bottom are from  a cheap shop, ( threw the wrapping away years ago about time i used it )

I have inked  the hearts with Dew Drop Brilliance  rocket red,  just love these  inks that just glide over the chipboards, without  soaking in/

love this months challenge,  can not wait til next motnth, keep up the good work.
