Heavens to be , it will be Christmas soon, another month done & dusted
August brings another fun time to create
For August, its Designers choice so today i thought i would do some Tearing and Spraying
I dont do a lot of tearing or distressing on my pages im usually clean and cut
Todays materials used
Slate cardstock
2 sheets - Kaiser High Tide Sea Map papers
Kaiser un chartered waters sticker book . here you can pick title, and stickers you would like
Kaiser Sprays Blue ,green and purple my most used colours
Card deco inks , Ultramarine
Washi tapes from spotlight ( 5 in a packet)
one photo
Gauze this can be bandages or gauze from the kitchen dept from cheap shops or from scrapbook stores
Im only doing my layouts in 8 inch size but you can do it a 12 inch or any size you create with. you can also create cards in a smaller format.
(1) with cardstock cut out middle for your chosen photo and mat your photo, put aside the photo
(2) slate cardstock is your base
(3) tear top & bottom Kaiser Sea map and ink
(4 ) with the second sheet tear out the wheel and ink, you can add foam tape if you wish for height
(5) Get your gauze and stretch, to make longer then place your anchor on scrap piece of paper, place gauze over the top and spray, for a mottled effect let dry
( 6 ) add , coloured guaze, washi tapes to the right hand side 2/3 rds up from bottom.
( 7 ) add your photo to the centre of your page , then at top right hand side of page I have threaded a rope though the hole ( from the sticker book) though the anchor and up over the page to the right ,
( 8) add title & any other embellishments
thank you
until next month
Happy crafting
