sketchy boards january challenge
WON , , first for the year, off to a good start, PRIZE :- Auzz Trinkets N Kraft.
Here we are in another new year of sketchy boards challenge.
This year, i have tackled something different as a boys page, not my usual girlie pages that i usually do.
Today, i have used 2 bo Bunny papers timepiece item #12T608. turning one up the other way to put my photos on,
I have used a clock stencil with structure paste and when dry have sprayed it with Colour Blast colour Shimmer Spray, leather. - this is such a great colour for mens pages
I have used Kaiser Antiques Clock Stickers to add to the page, it also has keys on the stickers, so have used this as well, as the layout is for my brothers 21st birthday party.
from my bo bunny papers i have cut from underneath the clocks, seems a shame to hide them
I have matted my photos with brown co ordinate card stock & sanded it so other colour came though.
I have inked & distressed around the papers using Distress inks Walnut stain

White with 1 January challenge 2016
Welcome to another year of White with one challenges, for the month of January, being tree top, my first thoughts were of Christmas trees, & Christmas, but finding some old photos of Mt Tamborine, when i went to a wedding up there, we stayed at a motel with lovely vines & trees around ,so thought that this would be a good layout to make of the page & to maybe get finished all the other photos from the wedding as my project this year. then are are all together.
I started with White card stock and with Dew Drop Brilliance Thyme ink , i inked around the edge of the paper
Using Kaiser Holly Jolly Collection i have made a scallop edging with one and paced the other under my 3 photos,
The Adventure awaites is from My year Story
I have a stamp from woodland wonders and have used the leaves only of the stamp to add a bit over the page ,
i felt it needed something else, but wasn't sure what, i think if i add more it will be too much and then i dont like my changes, i took the photo ready for uploading here. then our mail arrived, oh wow, yes, it was from The Resin Rainbow, and there were trees ,
I have cut up the vine looking resin and put it around the page ,i just love doily's, so it had to go on as well, and so i thought ,thats it
take a photo , about to load up again and realized, i did not put the title on it, yes , finished now, i feel now, that i have too much green on the layout, but not undoing it .
until next time thanks for colour challenge
123 January challenge
wow, what a vibrant colour for the first of the month of January, happy new year to all,
(1) colour - yellow
(2) word - together
(3) Texture - structure paste
I dont use yellow , but have it in my stash as my niece loves that colour and i think i will do a page with her, one day, once she wears that colour, but she wears pink a lot,
i started off with yellow cardstock , but with my yellow accessories, it was just too much, so i opted for a white Kaiser card stock.
I have inked around the edge in versa colour - canary
then with one of my stencils, and some structure paste, have made hearts and a bit of edging. later spraying with Kaiser mist sprays. yellow
Using Kaiser Pop up and My Year Story collection , i have randomly just cut and inked the edges,
the flowers , lace , camera & the word together i have sprayed with the Kaiser yellow mists
I have added white pearls from Kaiser and with the remaining spray tried to spray what was left in the bottle. around the page
photo is of my friends Together at Christmas dinner at Southbank in Brisbane
hope you like it , until next time
Enjoy

Kraft plus January challenge
hi all ,
happy new year, its hard to believe, that we are in 2016 all ready, i wasn't going to do Kraft plus challenge this month, as with my arthritis in my hands, writing is something i just dont do, i can type it better on the computer or use my chipboard letters to create a title. but to write ,well , thats one thing i dont do,
this year, i thought i would do more of my kits that i have in the drawers & layouts in magazines, that i have tagged over the years & like to scraplift, & less of the challenge sites,
Seeing as Kraft plus is only new, it was one to keep on the list,
On new years eve at the scrapbook shop, the last of Fridays crops, i bought a kit, ( as if i dont have enough, maybe over 40 ) so thought instead of putting it into the drawer, do it now, so with photos in hand i started yesterday, afternoon, while i had the photos of boats out, i thought i might as well ,just do layouts of them as well, & well, i put it on Kraft paper, didn't I , so Kraft plus came to be. so have just added enough writing, as i dont like my writing.
I have done a double layout of it , hope this is acceptable? if not, i will put up singles.
I have used Kaiser Sail Away papers as well as the collectables,
and have made circles from a stencil and coloured it in blue with Kaisrs colour markers and Martha Stewart glitter pens.
